I’m a Product Designer based out of San Francisco, currently consulting with companies large and small.
Most recently, I was a designer at Coursera helping revamp the core learning platform--projects which led to over a doubling in course completion rates. Previously, I've launched DBLCAM, a 1,000,000+ downloaded iOS app, with Social Print Studio and spent a summer designing developer tools at Microsoft.
I believe community is core to everything we do and over the years I've helped found the first student design org at UCSD--Design.UCSD (over 1,500+ members), was a Bridge fellow with DesignerFund and was a finalist in the IxDA's Student Design Challenge. I enjoy mentoring junior UX designers and am building a community for new designers entering the field--you can check it out at Road to UX.
Formative years include an art direction internship at an ad agency, studying and teaching Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) at UC San Diego and forays into academia.
Outside of work, I enjoy cycling, dabbling in interior design and hip-hop/R&B.
